This was an assignment for my Illustration class where we had to pick a band and then pick one of their songs to do for a CD cover. I chose My Chemical Romance and their song Cemetery Drive. Here are the lyrics.

We also had to base it upon a story, so i came up with something using bits and pieces of the song lyrics.
There is this girl and she is married to a horrible husband who treats her badly. She hates his guts and goes out one night, she meets this wonderful guy who actually cares for her and starts to have an affair with him. After awhile her husband finds out one night when he can't find her and calls the police.
The police look for her all over town and then find her and the guy drinking in the graveyard by the mausoleum doors. Her husband ends up showing up really pissed and tries to hurt her, the guy she is having an affair with beats the crap out of her husband and the police take him away while an ambulance is called for the husband.
That night when she goes home she tries to drown her sorrows in alcohol (was thinking of littering the floor with bottles), it doesn't completely work so she goes and gets her husband's handgun (which i was thinking of putting in) she can't find the will to pull the trigger so she does the next best thing.
First she turns on some music and a song comes on that she shares with the guy she was having an affair with (it was their song) she then finds a razor, sits on the bathroom floor, and starts cutting her wrists. She cries until she blacks out from blood loss and no one finds her until the next morning, she is pronounced dead and then her funeral is planned over the next few days.
Everyone ends up being there and when everyone leaves, the guy she was having an affair with shows up and goes to mourn at her tombstone.
